Once just a popular technology of little favor, people loved generative AI. But now it’s shaking all sorts of things in addition to that.
In the early days, it simply produced fixed pictures and stories. But by 2025 it ‘s doing very positive things in human voices and music in color-rich videos that appear so true the sounds seem part and parcel of them!
Of course there’s brand new things to try out, but also some flies in the ointment which need testing.
Originally, software from OpenAI that could make choices in ways we’d consider intelligent and something called DALL·E produced pictures and words that were quite similar to what people might come up with. Now, however, there are some new toys to play around with
In May 2025, Google announced its epic project Veo 3 at the I/O show. The program makes videos that look amazing for one thing, and now can even talk just like real life with voices, voices overlapping in time, background noises and tunes!
For example, one could liken this to being something between taking just ordinary pictures and making magnificent movies. Now Google is also working on Flow a program with which you can create your own movie stories
With Veo 3 and Flow, you have the possibility of deciding everything about how characters look, who they meet and what above all happens between them. You’re basically able to join together writing pictures sounds and videos into one whole of your own!
Even music is getting weird with AI! People can now create their own songs by using Suno AI to sing in words and with different sounds that are almost a band. In this way, someone who enjoys music and those who make it are able to experiment in different sorts of song unheard before. There is also Suno AI, working on its own to produce music!
But not everyone is happy. As with me, there’s the historic Suno. That’s a different kind of music company: it offers songs free (only one hit per day), then charges a monthly fee. The important music folks, who go by the name of Record Industry Association of America, are concerned with the potential dilemma. They believe that Suno AI might be using songs produced by someone other than creators who are living today without giving them any credit! So now they’re all concerned with what artificial intelligence can do to music that has already existed. In South Korea, a virtual K-pop star called Naevis brings light to the darkness.
Naevis, whose sound and appearance are generated by a special AI program developed for this purpose with the essential heat sensors in various parts of her body intact by SM Entertainment, is no more than one of today’s computer games or toys for children under 14. When Naevis goes on stage and begins to sing, it’s hard to tell she’s really not human. Although true personages are scarce in the movie world. There are even AI elements involved now that belong and add to films. Primordial Soup, which Darren Aronofsky directed, is pictures where the done-through AI pieces are made and other parts real actors do. Its first film, ANCESTRA, will be screened at the Tribeca Festival. It seems as if on the one hand AI is helping deliver a story while simultaneously being sort of like reality but still not reality. It’s possible to accomplish, but then why is it so odd?
Do you know what? There is a new rule now for the individuals who make laws in America’s Congress that was passed in 2024. It’s called the Generative AI Copyright Disclosure Act, which specifies that if people create any parts of an AI then they must reveal where each component is from, providing some means by which such information may be publicly available and preserving intellectual integrity even as new knowledge comes into being.
The aim is to try this method of direct creativity and direct AI straight up reverse it for humans. They are not supposed to produce any results that have been produced already, only novel new things! There’s a great deal of thinking to be carried out about AI and how to use it in the right form, especially if it ever gets like that. It’s fantastic when AI makes new things, but sometimes it’s as if virtually you’re right there doing something amazing–alas, too virtually, and not just watching the process yourself; there and not there, present yet mentally absent. With AI, sometimes means you can’t tell what’s good and it’s quite acceptable stuff without knowing exactly how–so in a word like it’s randomness! The generation of fictional content by computers has improved dramatically. They can now create stories and even pictures to match them Nowadays, they also make films that look so fake as to might really cause people to believe things that aren’t true.Let’s have some rules to ensure we do it gee oo d, for it’s hard to make the the difference whether a computer or person has made this. Clever computers can do far more than just writing and drawing: they put it all out for you just as if all those copies of things that help me learn were made by yourself. This is excellent for movies or school items because they can alter to whatever everybody likes. But we need to explore deeply important matters such as how to keep our secrets safe, making sure absolutely no one steals ideas, and what if robots start doing the same work as people? Everyone with a voice in this issue should work together. It is only desirable to continue making entirely new things without making something like what we hold most dear disappear simply from carelessness. In sum, as computers leap beyond making fancy words and images, we are seeing change on a grand scale.
When we are careful and make sure the computers are doing the right things, we can do great things and improve them over anything we’ve done up until now.
